JC’s Story

I had my abortion in April of 2022. At the time I was scared because I just found out I was pregnant and had never had a scare before. I was dreading having the abortion but knew I needed to. The process was seamless, I got the medication, had a friend stay with me throughout the abortion. The cramping was unreal and very painful and uncomfortable. I had a huge clot pass that clogged my toilet and flooded my apartment.

It was an overwhelming experience.

I feel better now about the whole experience now that I am on the other side of things and would never wish that upon anyone. It holds a large significance because now I’m much more careful about what I put my body through and am trying not to let it ever happen again.
